In Part 1, Dr. Prashanthan Sanders introduced the headline finding: a 61% reduction in CIED alert volume across 132,891 patients. In Part 2, he goes deeper — breaking down the results by device category and alert severity.
The reductions held across the board: ILR alerts down 73%, ICD alerts down 53%, CRT-D alerts down 55%, and pacemaker alerts down 30%. Both high-acuity and low-acuity alerts saw clinically meaningful decreases, all statistically significant (P < 0.001).
Watch Part 2 of this two-part video series as Dr. Sanders explains the mechanism behind these results — AutoTriage™ and trained CIED technician review — and what it means for scaling remote monitoring programs without scaling the noise.
