Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Sessions: A New Hybrid Approach

Our global heart rhythm community is at various stages of recovery related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Travel restrictions remain in place for many countries. After last year’s cancellation of the Heart Rhythm Scientific Sessions, there is renewed excitement for this year’s hybrid offering designed to meet the participation needs of international and US-based attendees. HRS is a time each year when heart rhythm professionals look forward to learning from and networking with electrophysiology experts and thought leaders from all over the world. But in addition to the opportunity to learn from the experts and keynote speakers, HRS offers attendees a time to focus on reconnecting with colleagues from training, prior employment, and HRS committee work. The Scientific Sessions are also a time to connect and bond with current colleagues and foster the energy that inspires us to drive innovative practice for our patients. Most of us return to our home practices with a renewed drive and spirit for EP and passion for our patients.

The struggles of last year and those that persist due to the pandemic have motivated the Heart Rhythm Society to double down on this year’s meeting. For the first time in its history, the Heart Rhythm Society has kicked off its annual Scientific Sessions with a virtual experience! Virtual attendees have access to sessions, can observe live cases, network with other virtual attendees, and of course, explore the virtual Innovation Expo.
