HIMSSCast: Tips for migrating medical devices to the cloud
Migrating more than 19,000 patient cardiac devices across 15 Atrium Health locations to a cloud-based platform was a major undertaking, one driven by the growing operational strain of managing high-volume cardiac data across multiple sites. The transition significantly improved clinical efficiency and patient care, according to Amy Tucker, nurse manager of cardiac device clinics at Advocate Health’s Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute.
With a remote cardiac monitoring solution from PaceMate that integrates directly with the health system’s electronic health record, nurses can now monitor implanted and wearable devices in real time, enabling earlier intervention and more effective program scaling across multiple locations.
Hear Amy Tucker share how SHVI scaled cloud-based cardiac device management across a multi-location health system.
