PaceMate is pleased to share our recent publication of a feature story in EP Lab Digest, titled “The Evolution of Remote Monitoring in Support of Digital Health.”
This article is the first in a series exploring how interoperability of cardiac monitoring platforms in digital health brings value to patients, practices, and populations. EP Lab Digest, as part of the HMP Global Learning Network, is an educational tool for electrophysiology lab professionals and physicians, providing clinically relevant, evidence-based content for the global healthcare community across a range of therapeutic areas.
In this feature article, PaceMate explains the evolution of remote monitoring into a standard of care for the management of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED). This virtual connection between device patients and their providers promotes quality of care, quality outcomes, clinical and operational efficiencies, and patient experience. Remote monitoring has facilitated the management of increasing numbers of device patients while improving clinical outcomes over in-person-only device management. However, remote monitoring advantages go beyond device patient management.
